“Best hotel breakfast ever.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2012

Pros: reasonably priced, beautiful grounds, great hospitality, plenty of parking, elevator. Son proclaimed, "best breakfast ever" because of quiche, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, waffles, cereal, 4 different juices, and HOMEMADE banana bread and pecan bread. Oh my....it was GOOD.

Cons: room had that hotel smell...room was merely average, nothing special. Not bad, just average

Final note: Would I stay there again? Yes!

Very friendly staff, the gardens well kept and beautiful. Breakfast was outstanding, quiche, scrambled eggs, sausage gravy with fresh out of the oven biscuits. There are cereals, muffins, fresh fruit, juices, anything you might want for breakfast. Now for the room...the mattress had been upgraded and very comfortable, flat screen tv was nice. The carpets could have used a good cleaning. The worst part of the room was the bathroom, there was a strong odor of urine even after cleaning with disinfectant wipes. It just needed a good scrubbing with bleach.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 110.

I'm glad to hear some positive amongst the bad. I'm so sorry you felt your bathroom wasn't as clean as it could have been. I will pass it on to my head housekeeper, so we can make sure this doesn't happen again. We would consider it an honor to have you return and give us a chance to make it right.

Stayed here again during my last trip to Eureka in May. The place has an upgrade underway, with new flat screen TV's and other room improvements. The free breakfast is good and all the staff is very friendly.

Went to Eureka Springs to see Melanie in concert. We loved our stay at the Comfort Inn. The room was very clean and the staff was so friendly. Almost felt like home away from home. the staff went above and beyond to be helpful and friendly. Would recommend anyone going to Eureka Springs to check in and stay here.... Thank you for a wonderful stay..... Patty & Dee

Room Tip: Just ask the desk clerk......they are very helpful.....the a/c in our room worked great....

Great property. Perfect location for shopping and shows. Right on trolley route. Only complaint is breakfast area is at back of property downstairs which is hard with wheelchair. They offered to take us down in golf cart. Overall beautiful grounds and fantastic hotel

Rooms were very nice for a mid-range priced hotel. Very clean and well maintained. Only other thing I would suggest is asking for a room in the back of the hotel, due to the traffic noises in the front. Bonus is the "Victorian Room" where the complimentary breakfast is served from 6-10 each morning. Yummy!

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the back of the building due to traffic noise.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn because we were going to a wedding and this was the hotel everyone was staying at. I did not have high expectations, but I was pleasantly surprised. The style is a cross between Victorian and New Orleans with iron railings and lots of floral gardens. the overall aesthetics of the outdoor areas was wonderful. The kids enjoyed the small pool area. It was a comfortable area for socializing. The hotel is within walking distance of restaurants and antique shops, but you'll need to drive to get to the historic loop with the main shops. The beds were comfortable -- my most important thing. But, the lighting was poor. It was very difficult to put on make up without looking like a clown with the limited lighting in the vanity area. The bathroom was nicely updated. Overall, I was pleased and would stay here again.
