We were leaving Eureka Springs, Arkansas last week and as we were driving around a curve, we noticed the rock cottages. They were so attractive, we turned around and checked into staying another night just to stay in one. The innkeeper showed us which ones were available and we chose cottage 3. The interior was a pleasing new color scheme with a great working jacuzzi, luxurious bed, bath robes, and slippers.
When we unloaded our luggage, we were surprised to find freshly baked cookies in our room, along with other snacks. The refrigerator was stocked with drinks as well.
Our cottage had a swing just outside the door and the innkeepers built a patio fire for the late afternoon.
The next morning, we were served a 3 course breakfast with the desert rivaling Hard Rock's apple cobbler.
There was a nice chapel on the grounds for weddings and renewals with several add-on packages for those involved in saying "I Do".
The grounds were a feast for the eyes as well as a rest for the mind.
I have included 4 photos of the cottages as well as the one we stayed in. My interior photos did not turn out or I would have included one of the interior, especially since it was so pleasing.
I would not hesitate to refer this experience as a "must do" while visiting Eureka Springs.
We have been to Eureka Springs several times over the years and this was a "treat".
