When my husband and I decided on Eureka for our honeymoon we were not expecting the hospitality, care, and genuinely pampering hands of Mike and Debbie.

John and I mutually agreed that it would be hard to think of another couple who truly enjoyed their work and play so intently, which somehow they managed to make the two appear to be the same, work and play. Their enthusiasm, givingness and superior taste in menu selction, gardening and even decor made our entire week that we spent at the Cottage the most wonderful time we can remember ever having together, and we have quite a few memories together.

Mike and Debbie's concern for our comfort extended from the simplest thoughts of allergy medicine and tums-without both we would have been miserable-to ensuring our relaxation with massages and carriage rides. When we weren't being spoiled by their sheer presence, we relished in the magnificent gardens of flowers, water fountains, vines, etc. that Mike very tenderly and expertly keeps. That's not even to mention the exquisite cooking which Deb prepared every morning that could easily top any fine dining we have ever eaten or worked at. As if all that was not enough, the cottage we were blessed enough to stay in, the Crystal Cottage, was so perfectly designed, decorated, and well kept that we were really dragging our feet on the day of departure.

All in all, Mike and Debbie left a life long mark on us with there selfless giving and beyond the call of a Bed & Breakfast kindness. They made us feel like personal guests and warmly welcomed family. We will not only return to the Rock Cottage Gardens to stay with Mike & Debbie for our one year anniversary, but every getaway chance we can possibly muster.

Thank you, Mike & Debbie, for making our honeymoon so perfect that we truly want to relive it over and over again.

Friends Always,
John & Tammy Darnall

Reviewers: A state Away

Rock Cottage Gardens was our maiden voyage into the bed and breakfast world. Now we re hooked. The hosts were exactly what we would have chosen. The cottage was charmingly decorated in a Southwest Motif, very clean, and quite comfortable. Breakfast was simply THE BEST we have ever enjoyed.

It would have been great to spent time just relaxing in the garden atmosphere but we toured the Holy Land and attended the Passion Play, both of which we found educational. We would recommend both.

Mike and Debbie provided a blessed environment in which to celebrate our 23rd anniversary. The cottages are comfortable, private, and immaculately clean. Breakfast is amazing. Mike and Debbie go out of their way to provide many unexpected extras to make your stay comfortable and convenient; and along the way you may find a few pleasant 'surprises'. We highly recommend Rock Cottage Gardens.

What a great place this is! Once again, researching TripAdvisor comes through with a winning recommendation. The Rock Cottage is historic, yet feels completely modern at the same time. Breakfast was amazing, the location ideal, our room was spotlessly clean and furnished with thoughtful extras. And most impressive to us was how genuine hosts Mike and Debbie are. It is a rare treat to find such good people. You guys "rock".

Very difficult to describe how my wife and I feel about Rock Cottage Gardens. Peaceful, relaxing, and a place to really recharge your battery. The cabins are perfect. The grounds are beautiful. The owners are wonderful. Every morning a great breakfast is served. Every evening we sat around an outside fire discussing the days travels and adventures with fellow guests. It is centrally located and yet secluded from the outside world. I titled my review "Shangri-La" because we have been to many places and stayed in some great hotels, motels and bed & breakfasts, but Rock Cottage Gardens is in a class above every place else we have stayed. We were unsure of what our stay would be like because the B&B had new ownership. Not only has the high standard of the B&B been upheld, but it has been enhanced by the new owners. The owners, Mike and Debbie are some of the nicest people we have ever met. In their website, it mentions that Debbie can cook. It talks about her decadent french toast. Well we had that for breakfast one day and it was fantastic. In closing we would like to say that to us Rock Cottage Gardens is a very magical, special place and well worth the trip to stay there. Refresh your body, mind, spirit and soul at Rock Cottage Gardens.
