Cliff Cottage Inn in Eureka Springs, AR, is a "must stay" if you love to be pampered! The Innkeeper has made sure that nothing but luxury was all around us. From the beautiful jacuzzi in the room, to the bottle of Pinot Grigio, to the exquisite breakfast delivered right to your room each morning and the fantastic view of historic downtown right under your feet, it's hard to leave the room! Affordable luxury!! Returning again this year for our third time, Cliff Cottage Inn felt like coming home! The beautiful Victorian style home (on the side of a cliff) overlooking historic downtown Eureka Springs was the perfect retreat after a day of shopping and dinning. It was the perfect location. We did not have to worry about trying to find parking when shopping. When we arrived, our car stayed parked all weekend, never having to move it to go shopping or to dine. Some of the best eats in Arkansas was just a few steps from our door. After dinning we walked back to our room, changed into more comfortable clothing and walked down to a great little bar for drinks and entertainment. Having had such a blast late into the evening, walking back to our room, sleeping late and waking up to another fabulous breakfast delivered to our room by the Cliff Cottage Elves was so nice, we knew we'd be coming back again and again.

    • Liked — Convenience to shopping and dinning and the view!
    • Disliked — Lack of sound proofing from night life.

“Romantic and private!”

Eureka Springs Cliff Cottage Inn - Luxury B&B Suites & Historic Cottages

Apr 3, 2008

We were looking for a romantic getaway to celebrate our anniversary and Cliff Cottage Inn in Eureka Springs fully met our expectations - and then some! It sits on the hillside overlooking the downtown streets, an easy walk. Each day we would venture down the hill to roam the quaint shops filled with many fine pieces made by local artists. Then we could easily return to our romantic little "home" each evening. The Emily Dickenson suite, where we stayed, was a small piece of Heaven, beautifully decorated, very private and secluded. And the most wonderful gourmet breakfasts were delivered right to our door each morning. We could stay in our robes and eat in the solarium. My goodness, we felt pampered and cared for! I can hardly wait to return.

“Wonderful Trip”

Eureka Springs Cliff Cottage Inn - Luxury B&B Suites & Historic Cottages

It was our 34th wedding Anniverary, we gave her very short notice and Sandra (the inn keeper and resident "Elf") did a great job of making us feel very special and welcome. The inn was quiet, clean and very comfortable. Service was great and the food was so..........yummy! (Her breakfasts are to die for!) You will really enjoy sitting on those front porches enjoying the sights and sounds of Eureka Springs and you can go right out the front door, down a set of steps to the "main street" so you can park your car and never move it (till it's time to go home). Wonderful!
We stayed in the "Thoreau suite" this time and would again.

“Loved the Location”

We had a wonderful wedding anniversary in the Robert Louis Stevenson suite. The colors of the room and lighting were very romantic.

The front porch overlooking downtown was fabulous. Sandra was a wonderful host. She left us alone but was available for telling us great places to go and see.

The Cottages were everything and more the reviews have raved about.

Our only disappointment, the famous "elf" did not bring us our breakfast. You had bettered ask for "the elf" when you check in if this is a big reason you want to stay. We sat in our room and couldn't wait for the elf to show up and it "no showed" with no offered explanation but in fairness to Sandra we hated to ask why.

We would definitely stay here again but only if assured the elf would come.

We stayed in the Alfred Lord Tennyson Suite. It was nice enough. I don't think I can give a proper review because I am reviewing something that is old. I don't like old. I like new. Being objective however, if you like victorian style houses you will love this. The outdoor shower was nice. The back deck is not private at all. These are basically duplexes, so your back deck is right next to the Sara suite. We thought the sofa was very dirty and covered it with the quilt that is provided in the tv stand.

What we LIKED:
I liked the outdoor shower.
The breakfasts were wonderful
The coffee in room was wonderful
You can get movies from the office at your leisure.
You can walk almost anywhere.

We were not big fans of Eureka Springs, but that has nothing to do with the property. A few tips, if you don't like old stuff, don't go to Eureka. I was bored senseless. We are both 25. We visited for our anniversary and it was just not the place for us. However, if you do like Victoria type homes and like Eureka you will love the Cliff Cottage Inn. At $220 a night + 15% tax. I think it is VERY expensive for what you get.

    • Liked — The Breakfast was the best part of our stay. We also enjoyed the outdoor shower
    • Disliked — Not as private as I thought it would be. I don't like Eureka Springs
