“Excellent menu and food quality. Highly recommend!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2014

The chef, Linda Hager, has been in Eureka Springs for many years and this restaurant is one of the hidden gems. Linda travels each Winter and brings back new wines, new menu items and does a wonderful job of preparing and serving fresh, delicious food at reasonable prices.

“my favorite restaurant anywhere”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2013

You'd never guess from driving by this 1930s cottage motel that there's white tablecloth dining inside. The chef and owner, Linda Hager, learned to cook while living in Europe years ago, and the little restaurant successfully pulls off a blend of Mediterranean flavors and comfort food. Think braised lamb shank with mashed potatoes. Or trout prepared two ways: Tuscan trout, prepared with pine nuts and currants, for the adventurous; or plain fried for those wanting the familiar. Everything is made from fresh ingredients, including the whole wheat bread cooked daily and the outstanding desserts prepared on site. Portions are generous, to say the least. Special dietary needs are readily accommodated. The service is ideal: friendly, attentive, and knowledgable both about the menu and wine list. A favorite with the locals and with devoted tourists, such as my husband and myself. Full disclosure: we've been going here for years.

“Good choice for dinner”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 6, 2013

Not a huge menu but a good one with a variety of choices, much with a traditional culinary approach and french influences. The food quality was good and definitely freshly made-to-order dishes. No heat-n-eat items here! Nice selections of wine. Quiet atmosphere and a good place for couples or small groups.
Service was excellent.

“Always Good”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2013

Been a couple of years since our last meal here but the Cottage Inn did not disappoint. Nice Mediterranean touch to the menu's fare. Good wine list. Help staff are excellent. One of our Top Five places to dine in a small town with so many great eating establishments.
