The good things about this hotel are the view, the quietness, and darkness of the room, and the deck just outside the room.
The reason we won't return:
I paid $100 for this room that was worth about $20. Upon arrival we had to wait for the maid to leave the room, which didn't pose much of a problem. But when we got in the room we found that two of the four lamps in the room were not working. This was taken care of immediately. This room was dirty and had a mold like smell. Dust and cob webs were everywhere. Inside the king size pillow shams were two smaller pillows that had mold stains on them. The bed was not bad but the sheets would not stay on the bed, probably because the bedding was so old. The Jacuzzi was dirty and had hair all over it. The bathtub and sink were covered with scum and hair. The coffee pot, which was sitting by the sink, had splatters of something white all over it. I assume this was toothpaste or soap. Who knows. At 7:45 a.m. I contacted the front office to borrow an iron and I was rudely told that the office opens at 8:00 but she did bring an iron to me. Upon check-out the employee in the office had nothing to say when I told her the room was dirty.
