“Great Garlic Bread”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2012

While waiting for your table, go upstairs and play connect 4 & have a drink! The bread was fresh, and the garlic was roasted, you crush and put on bread yourself. It was delish!!!

“Great rendezvous with old friends”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 7, 2012

It has been at least ten years since last eating here, and its even better than I remembered. The atmosphere is awesome, like being in a stereotypical Italian grandmother's home. The drink list is good, with fitting wines and beers. Now the hard part, choosing what you want to eat. You can go with the house specialties, or pick a sauce and a pasta/gnocchi, which can be a bit overwhelming but I doubt you could go wrong with any decision. We went on a Sunday evening and were promptly seated, but it is busier on Fridays/Saturdays. A Eureka institution that is a must try.

“Enough garlic to ward off vampires”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 4, 2012

After a long wait, we were seated in a small, cozy dining room. We ordered the evening special of grilled salmon with a tomato basil glaze, a side of pasta with basil pesto and green beans, the entrees also came with a salad. The blue cheese salad dressing - so thick it should be served on a baked potato, rather than a salad, was delicious. The salmon was perfectly prepared, juicy and moist on the inside, with a nice little crust on the outside. Our server was personable and very knowledgable about the menu - he recommended a reasonably-priced and tasty pinot noir that was a perfect accompaniment to the salmon. One of the better meals we have experienced in Eureaka.

The food was delicious and reasonably priced. We had an hour wait, but didn't mind at all. Very relaxed atmosphere.

“Dinner”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 3, 2012

The waitress was super attentive to us, but the food tasted like something I could have cooked in my kitchen (and I'm not the best) but it was cozy and romantic so it was a nice experience.
