Originally from the East Coast and a seasoned traveller, I would've never thought I would have a good time in Arkansas. Eureka Springs was one of the cutest little towns I have ever visited! My husband and I drove down from Kansas City, MO for a weekend trip. We stayed Grand Central Hotel which was conveniently located in the middle of the "action" (shops, restaurants). GC's building is quite beautiful. The rooms are a bit expensive though. They are a little dated as well. I know it is supposed to be "historic" but re-upolstering the couches and updating the bathrooms would be nice (for the price you are paying --- $160 for parlor suite). I received a 1 hr massage, which was wonderful and relaxing. We had dessert at the hotel restaurant. The flourless chocolate cake was to die for! Seems that everything in Eureka Springs closes really early! Still a cute little town with unique shops and good restaurants. I would recommend this hotel mainly based on the great location and guaranteed parking.
