This was a nice treat. The interior decorating was wood-filled, classy, and cozy - just what the doctor ordered to end a nice fall evening. The food was overall very enjoyable - skip the escargot - way too garlicky (bitter garlic, not slow cooked). The soup was hot and tasty, if a little brothy. The prime rib my husband got was average -not seasoned enough in my opinion. The ribeye I got was out of this world -tender, rich, succulent, spiced. My husband and I both went in ravished, but wished that we would have just split the ribeye dinner, it would have been plenty enough. The peach cobbler was so-so, canned peaches, but good nonetheless. Wine was generous, but average. We ended up taking home half of our meal, and then never finishing it, so order LESS than you think you will need, no matter how hungry you are. Overall, I would go back and recommend the place.

This is the second time we ate there. The first time last year was good, but this time I have to say that the food was just "Fair". We ordered the prime rib and it was "OK". Nothing to write home about. My wife ordered a drink called a Bahama Mama. I almost passed out when we saw the price of it... $10 for one drink!! I think there is better places to eat in Eureka Springs. Last year it was a good experience. This year... well I don't think we'll go back the next time we go to Eureka Springs.

My husband and I ate at Gaskin's on our wedding night, December 2006. The food was superb, service was excellent and we loved the romantic atmosphere! I had one of the chef's specialties, which was a Greek stuffed chicken breast. It was fantastic! We will definitely return to Gaskin's!

My husband and I wanted a very romantic steakhouse to eat at. After asking some of the locals they recommended this place. At the arrival I was impressed with the history of the cabin and it was romantic. When I looked at the menu I wasn't impressed and just glade we didn't have kids because it is not a kid friendly enviroment. My husband and I both ordered a Sirloin steak for $19.99 a piece. The steak was ordered medium well and when it came out it was burnt. There is just not enough side items to order either. I would not suggest going there for the price it was not worth it all.
