Wifey and I were passing through Eureka Springs on our way to OK. Cute town, loaded with artists. We we wandering the back streets of ES and found Oscar's.
Desperate for coffee and a decent breakfast (not a carbo loaded gut buster), we were pleasantly surprised to find this place. My double espresso was delivered super pronto, quickly followed by the mushroom, spinach and goat cheese roulade, with a side salad of orange and cherry tomatoes. Very nice.
Wifey's quiche (spinach, artichoke and bacon) was fab too.
But the killer item was the scone we shared. Light, flaky and moist. Best ever? Quite possibly....
We were outta there having spent less than $25. Very reasonable.
After the meal we walked across the street to the Lux Weaving Studio. You won't want to miss this place. 'Nuf said......
