The unassuming exterior belies the gem that is the Blarney Stone.
FOOD: The menu, while keeping to a broad pub-food theme, contains some real pleasures.
The Shepherd's Pie is unmistakably homemade. It has real mashed potatoes, and bright, fresh peas. Management has put some thought into the details here. When I visited Ireland, breakfast was always my favorite meal of the day. The Blarney Stone pays tribute to this with a full breakfast menu (served all day long).
DRINKS: The staff keeps a wide variety of gourmet, micro and craft beers available. You should definitely ask to see their signature drink menu. They serve some interesting drink concoctions that I have never heard of elsewhere.
SUMMARY: This hidden gem should be on your Eureka Springs must-eat list. But if you stumble across The Stone looking for a drinks dive, you will be pleasantly surprised with your meal!
