We found the Woods through the internet and the accommodations were just as they were advertised. It is a wonderful hideaway. Kay and Frank are gracious hosts and respected our privacy. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a couple's retreat.

The Woods Resort is Perfect! Kay and her son Frank do everything possible to make your stay memorable. We have been to Eureka Springs about 5 times but have only stayed at the Woods Resort. Why try anything else when we've already found paradise? I can't imagine staying anywhere else. The cottages are warm and cozy and filled with beautiful furnishings. The grounds and the cottages are kept up so nicely - we wish we lived closer so that we could visit more often.

The Woods Resort and Treehouse Cottages is not for your average Eureka Springs visitor. It is for couples who enjoy pristine clean, large, modern, top quality accomodations nestled in the woods, but a short walk away from the center of the town.

Our cottage was just a couple of years old (Cottages 4 & 5), and breathtakingly beautiful with its glossy light pine wood rising high into the vaulted ceiling. The king bed was very comfortable, soft sheets, mini-bar, fireplace, TV/VCR, ceiling fan, large bath with jacuzzi tub, separate shower, private toilet area, all very well appointed with tasteful and delightful decorations.

Just steps away is a hot tub in a gazebo; private, yet surrounded by nature. Although built among a thick area of trees where all you hear are sounds of nature, you are only a modest walk away from the main drag.

We would recommend The Woods without the slightest hesitation to the discriminating Eureka Springs traveler who wants a quiet or romantic get-away, enjoys fine things and doesn't mind paying just a few dollars more for it.

My husband and I have been going to Eureka Springs often for the last three years. Our favorite place to stay is "The Woods Resort". He has a total of five cottages. The are immaculate, decorated in an ecclectic style. Each has a large jacuzzi for two, plus a separate shower. Each has a small fridge, microwave and sink. They have porches to sit on. At the Woods you are sitting right above the downtown and it is very beautiful there. They also have a large hot tub within a screened in Gazebo. Each also has a fireplace. Cottage four and five are our favorites. We've stayed all over Eureka from B&B's to hotels, cabins, etc., but we always come back to the Woods for the peace and tranquility. I highly recommend them. Frank does a wonderful job.
