My husband and I take mini vacations and chose this location because of the reviews on Trip Advisor. We were definitely pleased with our experience. We were even surprised by a breakfast of juice, coffee, cereal and/or waffles. That was not mentioned in the other reviews and was a real treat. We will definitely be back. The view of the lake from our window was very calming and serene.

We stayed in mid-October and absolutely loved the place, the hosts, and the view. Make sure that you understand what you are getting. This is a motel- located out on Beaver Lake. The views are amazing, the access to lake and town are great. The room we stayed in was very clean. This is not a five star place and its not in town. The only complaint we have is the bed was a little hard- probably because its new and we prefer a pillow top style! Perfect for a budget getaway for relaxing. We will be back

This place is like your home away from home..with WAY better views! We utilized the outside grills and cooked out, loved the fire pit, would have gone swimming but was a little chilly! The pool looked so inviting and clear! We stayed during Bikes, Blues and BBQ and very biker friendly. Would definitely stay here again! After all the hustle and bustle of riding and going out to eat, it was nice knowing we could come back to the hotel and hang out front, or out back and relax as the sun set..really enjoyed it!

This is the 4th time my husband and I have stayed at this hotel. It is more about the view of the lake from your own back balcony than anything. This time it rained almost the whole time so no beautiful sunset but it was still an awesome view. We like to sit and have our coffee which the hotel provides (each room has its own coffee pot) as well as fridge and microwave. New management has cleaned up the rooms. We stayed in the "cowboy" room which was decorated very nicely. The floor was polished cement rather than carpet which seemed cleaner to me than any carpet. I very much liked it. The only downside for this room (which was made up by the view) would be very little water comes out of the shower and the bathroom is tiny, tiny. Also, the only breakfast offered was 2 things: waffle or corn flakes - no bread or anything else to toast. We had to go into Eureka for breakfast but the next day just bought something to stick in fridge and then heat up. Hotel managers very friendly and helpful - we would definitely be going back. Price a little steep since most hotels in Eureka run around $40 but the view is worth the extra money.
