“Great Cabins”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 28, 2013

Had a wonderful weekend in Eureka Springs and this cabin had everything we wanted. Nice comfortable bed. Big hot tub in the cabin. And a shower that is huge. The atmosphere was great. Went on a nature walk around the property on the trails they have there. Very peaceful and relaxing. We plan to go back the next chance we get.

Our first stay at Cherokee Mountain. We enjoyed the cabin a lot; the peaceful, lovely view from the deck is fantastic. And oh, the blissful seclusion that is just priceless. The fact that it's pet-friendly is an added bonus, too. The McAllisters were lovely hosts and just as nice as they could be. We will most certainly be back.

Great place to stay if you don't want all the noise of staying in town. Very well set up for guest to bring a dog. The deck is fenced in so that smaller dogs can not get out. The cabin we stayed in (Bird Clan) was very well arranged and appointed. They thought of everything. Cabin is great for romantic get away or for a small family. VERY comfortable bed and to me that is the most important thing.

We went to Eureka Springs to see the sights, but ended up enjoying the cabin more than the downtown tourist area! Who needs endless shops of trinkets, and crowded bars, when an oasis for two exists? Our cabin was decorated with enough manly logs and weathered wood, plus authentic native art of pottery, baskets and tribal items. But also furnished with a bed of down comforters and an expansive two person spa. Other nice touches were the large walk in show with two shower heads and a seating bench, or a second vanity located in the main room.

Nestled in the woods four miles east of town, my wife and I chose to forego restaraunts, and instead used the basic kitchen items to enjoy leisure meals on the porch, enjoying nature and the rain. Who needs a vacation filled with "busy tourist hustling" compared to calm and contentment? We also opted to tour the Wine Tasting shops listed by the Tourism Bureau, and enjoyed our purchases in the evening spa.

We can't wait to come back this autumn for a repeat! Plus, our stay was no more than an average hotel--but so much better in amenities and privacy.

Room Tip: They have small "couples" cabins at very reasonable prices, or larger family cabins, featu...

We love traveling with our two dogs tex and skipper. Our first night we arrived late in the evening . We were first met by the two resident dogs Harley and Bo who had come down to check us out. From then on we were great friends . Bo would visit often .we would open the gate to our private deck to let him play with tex. he was never a nuisance we enjoyed his visits. The cabin was perfect for our anniversary romantic and secluded .We had everything we needed or wanted including the glass front deck with an outstanding view .
loved the jaccuzi tub and view from the shower through the open bathroom door :0)) .We could get phone service on the deck and I could check emails send and receive texts . All and all an awesome visit and we will be back .

Room Tip: We liked the bird clan cabin

Over the past five years, we've stayed at Cherokee Mountain in Eureka Springs multiple times. The cabins are so nice and secluded - the Bird Clan is my favorite. We've been in the Fall, and the trees are beautiful that time of year. We've been at Christmas, and in addition to being beautifully decorated, the view off the deck during a snowfall is gorgeous. Especially with a fire going in the fireplace. It's a great place to take the kids, there's plenty to explore on the property, and the furnished kitchen makes it fun and convenient. It's also extremely romantic without the kids! We plan on going back in October with the kids, and I can't wait!

Room Tip: The Deer Clan and Bird Clan are very secluded cabins.

My husband and I spent our honeymoon 28 years ago in Eureka Springs. We've been in Eureka many times. This time we stayed in the Deer Clan Cabin. It was secluded and private. If we needing anything the staff was very helpful. We loved sitting on the porch, watching the squirrels during the day, and listening to the wild turkeys at night. We were close enough to the Historic district in Eurkea to go shopping and close enough to the sites to go site seeing. We had a wonderful time and plan on going back to stay in the Deer Clan cabin for our 30th anniversary.
