We discovered this place a couple of years ago, after it first opened. It came highly recommended as a place to sit and talk while enjoying some fine wine and imported cheeses. It has never failed to deliver. The cheeses are diverse, with several excellent plates to choose from, and the plates also have a variety of breads, fruit, spreads, and tapenades. The wine list is extensive, with most wines available by the glass as well as the bottle. The beer list is shorter, but also impressive. You can enjoy your wine inside or out on their patio, but beware, there is a biker bar across the street that can interfere with the ambiance. The Stone House does not serve meals, just wine/beer, and cheese, although the Connoisseur cheese plate had enough food for 2 people, and we didn't need dinner after finishing it off. The prices for the beer and wine are very good, but the cheese plates may seem a bit pricey at first.
