“Simple Home Cooking”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2013 via mobile

This is a great place to eat on a cool day. We love good pinto beans and cornbread. Perfect place to eat if you are on a weekend retreat here or shopping. This is especially true if you have eaten the night before at one of the great Italian restaurants in the area.

“I'd go back today”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 23, 2013

This is a family owned restaurant with a limited menu. I had the mixture of red and white beans with cornbread. It tasted homemade and portions were large. The cobbler and ice cream were good, although I question whether they were homemade. The prices were very reasonable, bordering on inexpensive.

“grandma's Beans and Cornbread”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 17, 2013

Small and cozy lunch location. Kids had good hot dogs, adults had chicken and dumplings which were just yummy.
Not a fancy place but certainly a different place for lunch. The ladies could have been "Grandma" serving more than enough for the price.

“NOT IMPRESSED!”

You have to go to counter place your order and basically wait on yourself. I got the beans and cornbread and it sure didnt taste like grandmas. The beans come in a styrofoam bowl????

“Grandma's Beans and Cornbread”

This is a simple little place with simple but tasty food. It is a good lunch place. If I am traveling through Eureka, this is a quick nourishing stop. The menu has some variety but I think the beans and cornbread are their best items.
