“Below Average Tex-Mex”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed September 23, 2013

The manager of the establishment said this was authentic Mexican dining at its best. Perhaps so, if no one had ever anything else to compare it against. The rice was under cooked (still VERY hard) and the Elote (corn dish) was barley seasoned. Having ordered fajitas, the beans that came with it seemed to be straight from a can and warmed up, also without a shred of seasoning. This place does have pretty good tomato salsa for their chips, which, when this salsa was added to the various food items that weren't seasoned well, made it tolerable. It's not worth the cost. The waiter also didn't get one of our orders correct. Had asked for no cheese on a dish, yet it came covered with cheese. When it was brought to the attention of the waiter, he took the plate, and came back out from the back room about three minutes later. It was clear by seeing the white cheese lining the side of the plate that the only thing that had been done was to scrape off the cheese and re heat the dish. There's other great places in Eureka Springs to go to, please don't visit this one.

This customer was not even in our restaurant. I, the owner was the only waiter with one other waitress on the floor on september 23rd. Not one guest complained the food wasn't seasoned. Additionally our fajita dishes don't come with beans.
When you live in a small town with a lot of restaurants beware on competitors posting false reviews.

“Taking a trip to Mexico without leaving Arkansas”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 22, 2013

We visited quaint Eureka Springs looking to enjoy the weekend and the Victorian atmosphere. We were pleasantly surprised going to Casa Colina, finding ourselves taking a trip to Mexico instead. Atmosphere, servers and food, all excellent. Even had a chance to meet the owners and know why it was the perfect place to eat on a Saturday night. The restaurant was busy, we were told that the Bikes, Blues and Barbeque Event that took place in Fayetteville was bringing all the motorcycle traffic into the city, adding nothing but more energy to the entire town. We had a bit of a wait however were taken very good care of by Arlen and the rest of the staff. As soon as our table was ready, we were seated, ordered and had our dinner brought to us within 15 minutes. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a relaxing and tasty break from walking the shops in Eureka Springs.

“Not worth the money”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 21, 2013

I did like the ambience of the restaurant. The food wasn't the best. I love mexican food but this wasn't to my liking. The server Nick was pleasant. He's a great waiter. It wasn't busy the day we went (it was a Monday evening) so that made it enjoyable.

Some guests are looking for a Tex-Mex experience. We are not Tex -Mex, fast, or cheap. If you are looking for a genuine unique Mexican dining experience we are your restaurant. We use only the finest ingredients and prepare our food items from scratch. Our facility is upscale casual and their is not another restaurant like ours to be found anywhere this side of the Rio Grande. Our guests travel from Tulsa, Springfield, Little Rock and beyond just to dine with us.

“Best Mexican food in the USA”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 18, 2013

This restaurant has the best Mexican food my wife and I have ever had. I had the Chiles en Nogada and my wife had the pork tacos. I can't wait until we eat there again. We want to give a big shout out to our server Heidi. She really took good care of us. If you want to experience some good food you need to eat here. I know we will again!!
