Having been to Eureka Springs several times in the past ten years, I was surprised that we had never decided to visit this place. I am glad we had a nice sunny day to go there in January, because this place tells a powerful tale of these rescued lions, tigers and yes even bears. I was pleased to get so much knowledge from the interns working here and to find out the story of almost every animal here. It is easy to see how a person could fall in love with these animals and want to have one as a pet, but you can't ignore the fact that some of them weigh up to 800 lbs when full grown. They are definitely not house pets, and it is sad to think that they must eventually be rescued and cared for in such large numbers. The work that is being here is amazing and it is a full time job, the people here love these animals and it shows. I recommend you go with your family it is reasonably priced and we went an hour before feeding time and it is quite entertaining. Lots of Cats letting their voices be heard.
