“Comfortable and Clean”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 2, 2013

Lookout Lodge is the place to stay if you plan on going to Eureka Springs. There are many places to stay in Eureka but this place has it all. Comfortable beds, very clean room, warm and cozy décor. I loved the wood floors and the cute log furniture. The owners are very accommodating and made our trip even more enjoyable. They made suggestions of good places to eat and visit. We really enjoyed our visit to Eureka Springs and Lookout Lodge just made it perfect.

Room Tip: If you want a room in the back, pick a king bed and make a request to owners.

The young Swiss couple that bought this property 5 years ago pour their heart and soul into making this property the best it can be. It really is quite small, and the room layouts are very standard, but the attention to detail and cleanliness is outstanding. I was in Room 15 and I think it was the cleanest room I have ever stayed in. The unit had a flawless hardwood floor and beautiful hand-hewn wooden furnishings. The bathroom was spotless. The owners could not have been nicer. They recommended places to eat and which shows to see.

We found this to be extremely clean, well managed, and a convenient location. There are no bells and whistles, just a nice place to stay while touring the many attractions and shops in the Eureka Springs area. It is conveniently located to many restaurants, too.

Lookout Lodge was a perfect place to stay. Rooms were perfect. Sonja and Robert are very knowledgeable about the area, very friendly, and provided wonderful insight into the surrounding areas. He rides and recommended an alternate route than what we had planned, and it was fantastic. Our time in Eureka Springs was greatly enhanced by staying at this hotel. We would definitely stay at the Lookout Lodge again. Very accommodating with motorcycles - rags available for the bikes, cones blocked off our parking spots (super nice touch!) right outside our rooms.

My husband and I did a 15 day trip through the south and planned out nightly hotels as we traveled using TripAdvisor. Lookout Lodge came highly recommended so we booked one night for our stay in Eureka Springs. Loved it so much we booked an additional night. I loved the rooms - I felt like I was at home or in a private cabin in the woods. Sonja and Robert have done a wonderful job decorating the rooms with all the homey touches...Really - right down to the toilet tissue holders! It is a little far out from the town, so I would recommend driving to the Visitor's Center to pick up the tram or the trolley as the trolley stops at 5 or 6 pm and you could be left stranded in town. I wish I had more time to stay in the area and if we are ever back in the area we will be sure to stay at the Lookout Lodge ~ keep up the good work Sonja & Robert ~ we loved staying at your place in the Ozarks!

Very nice lodge. Excellent service, owner very accommodating, nice & personal - goes out of his way to improve your trip & be helpful. Nice outdoor table and seating at room made relaxing outside in the Ozarks in the fall a beautiful experience. Will DEFINITELY go back to this location.

My husband and I had the pleasure of staying at Lookout Lodge during the Corvette weekend in Eureka Springs on Oct. 6th and 7th. Our Corvette club books the entire lodge for the weekend and have done so for several years. We return because the accommodations are wonderful and Robert and Sonja are fantastic hosts. They go out of their way to make sure that our stay is great. The beds are wonderful and the rooms are roomy and exceptionally clean. I would recommend this lodge to anyone who is wanting a quiet, comfortable and reasonably priced place to stay while in Eureka Springs.
