After staying in two back-to-back sketchy hotels, this place was a welcome reprieve. Clean and well-appointed French country-style rooms (wooden beams, stone walls) with a cozy restaurant downstairs. For dinner, I had the black truffle omelette and my husband had the wild boar stew which we both enjoyed. The next day, we ordered the packed lunch (pate sandwiches, walnut cake, cheese, fruit and bottled water) which we ate along the road after our visit to the Font de Gaume grotte.
