This resort could be really great for family with kids like us. However, the service is too impersonal. Don't think they care about customer satisfaction.

The WIFI should be free as it was not even fast! The towels are limited to 3 towels even after we beg for more because of the kids.

The facilities are old and need upgrade. No AC units in room although they have screen for windows for mosquitos. Make sure to visit during non-summer months in Nepal if staying in the resort.

As it is more than 30 minutes away from Kathmandu, the price should be more competitive. We were not lucky to see the Himalayas Range from our room due to the clouds (and we visited October!) We were told that it is better to visit December - January. Clear sky and the chances of seeing the Himalayas from the room is high.

Room Tip: Be prepared to climb stairs from room to lobby or restaurant. Choose the ones closes to the restaura...

A comfortable and beautiful place to relax. Reasonable food, good and clean room. On a clear day we are supposed to see Himalaya! Once several years ago the entire mountain was clear throughout the morning. I believe the best time to visit is October.

Since, my team from Office went there for team building on September 28 and 29, I found the food, room service, environment and the location good but the hotel service for WI-FI & Support staff at Swimming Pool was bad.

Hope they will think about upgrading this service. Esp. Wifi should be free as well.

Room Tip: Room & the outdoor are clean

About half an hour outside of Kathmandu, this is a lovely hotel if you want to get away for some peace and quiet away from the crazy KTM buzz. Gorgeous gardens and terraces with a pool and excellent dining facilities.

One of the amazing resorts in Kathmandu valley, Godavari Resort took my breath away when I reached there. Away from the hustle bustle of the busy and noisy city, this was an amazing get-away. Very friendly staff and the rooms were clean, spacious and full value for money. The restaurant was great, helpful staff, amazing fresh food. Enjoyed their thali. The bad part, gym was in a bad shape but since it's built on the hill there's enough to walk around the property to burn some calories.

Room Tip: One of the separate building with about 4 rooms are good for privacy and quiet.

We stayed at the Village resort for two days as a means the visit Godavari gardens en Pulchowki Hill for birding. The resort is very well built on a hillside. The buildings are well laid out and are equiped with spacious rooms. The staff is very friendly. We were able to get a breakfast at 5 in the morning without problems.
The problem with the resort is that there is not much to do in the neighborhood. So you are stuck on the premises. In our case the pool was under maintenance so there was not a lot to do. The resort caters more for large groups and business venues. So all in all a very good resort but lacking in character.
