We stayed in La Gemulouise for one night on our way back to the UK. The welcome was warm, the house is quirky, and full of fascinating antiques / works of art. It is in a very quiet location in a pretty wine making village. Vincent and Anne were helpful and interesting hosts. The best thing was the evening meal, which was absolutely delicious at 18E / head - beautifully cooked and presented local produce, with home made bread and local wines. It was easily better than meals that we had eaten out in restaurants the previous weeks. Breakfast was great too! The stay was good value as we booked the family room and comfortably slept 4 for 80 euros. Beds and bunk beds were comfy. Would recommend.
