My husband an I stayed one night on our way home after searching for diamonds and digging for crystals.
Two hot, weary travelers found a friendly welcome at this motel. The room was nice and did not have that “Motel Smell”. There were plenty of towels and other amenities that cost extra at other motels such as a fridge and microwave. There was in room coffee service , an iron/ironing board and a hair dryer. The two double beds were made up with nice linens. There was the usual Motel bedspread and an added blanket for comfort. The complementary breakfast was provided in a clean environment and was laid out with plenty of nice fresh food. Pets were welcome they only ask that you let them know about them when you check in. The staff was very friendly and helpful with directions for places in the surrounding area. We would recommend this motel to others and look forward to staying there again

Very clean, extra towels. This motel has a outdoor swimming pool. Walking distance to 3 restaurants. I would stay here again.

My husband and I had never been whitewater rafting, but decided to give it a try (I love water but was scared to death!). The water is really not that scary, at least not on our trip which was 6/30/05. Guides were great (swear ours was Owen Wilson!); mostly young college age--lot of fun. Wet suits and booties were a little scary, but you get over it. You'll definitely want to shower after! Don't let all the talk of the class rapids and liability waivers scare you away--it's not that dangerous and ended up being a highlight of our trip!
