“Nice old town”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2013

This town was very beautiful, it had a nice old feel to it. The ice cream shop next to the visitor center was fun for the kids, almost like stepping back in time.

“A delightful attraction on a delightful historic square”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2013

The Bentonville square is ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS and has a great collection of quality restaurants and shops. The visitor center fits right in. It offers great insights into Sam Walton's vision of turning Walmart into what it has become today.

Great exhibit and story of Sam Walton's success story. The 5&10 store brings back lots of memories. This story of Sam's success is a true story of the American Dream

“Hails All Things Walmart, Especially Sam Walton”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2013

The Walmart Visitor Center is a little museum created to praise Sam Walton and Walmart. As such, it is totally self-serving, but what else would you expect? I found Sam Walton's modest office, recreated here, interesting and also enjoyed the small display of items that had been accepted for return at Walmart to meet their satisfaction guarantee (such as a fishing rod which the customer claimed would not catch fish : ).

Don't go out of your way to visit, but if you're passing by, it's a fairly quick walk-through, and of course, you can add your own knowledge of what Walmart has meant to the country (and the world) to create a more balanced view.

“The inside of Sam Walton's office”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

I had gone to this place thinking its a coffee shop!
We ordered our mocha's and we found our way into The history of Bentonville and the origin of Walmart stores!

Was a learning and fun experience on how Walmart customers returned various items purchased with weird and funny reasons.

Sam's office was also part of the visit.
