“Wonderful!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2013

I have been to Petit Bistro two types and both experiences were amazing! The first trip was a dinner with friends. We stayed for about 3 hours and love every minute of it! They have a great wine list and appetizers to die for! I tried something new that night, it was an eggplant and beef entree and every bite was delicious! The atmosphere is comfortable, cozy and intimate. Absolutely loved the food, staff and experience! Can't wait to go back!

“Great find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013 via mobile

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner. I had a wonderful spinach pear salad and tuna tower. My partner had delicious lamb. The server suggested a great mint basil martini. Very refreshing. She also suggested wines by the glass to accompany each dish. Looking forward to returning.

“Warm Atmosphere, Great Food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 19, 2012

This is a lovely Ozark stone house set back a bit from the road on 9 acres with a fantastic and eclectic menu. The recipe inspiration comes from the owner's background of living all over Europe. You can find him behind the bar most nights greeting customers and washing dishes.

My favorites on the menu are the mussels or tuna tartar to start with, the maison salad, and the swordfish, steak au poivre and chateaubriand pasta. After dinner make sure to try their cheesecake of the day or their creme brulee, It's the best I've had :)

Their by the glass wines are great, particularly their Bordeaux or their Sauvignon Blanc.

If you go on a nice day, make sure to sit on the patio, I love it out there! Periodically, during the summer, they do live music out there as well.

Not kid friendly, but they'll bend over backwards to accommodate a party.

“Lovely little venue”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 24, 2012 via mobile

Loved the ambience. The menu was quite good. The portions were very reasonable--not too much and not too little. I would recommend this place.

The good:
- Excellent ambience
- Reasonable prices
- "Right-size" portions
- Great menu

The bad:
- Food is not the best but good nonetheless
- Do not order chocolate bread pudding--just so so

“A wonderful atmosphere and delicious food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2012

The restaurant is tucked back into the woods in an old stone house. If you want to feel like you're escaping for an evening- this is the place! The serving area is open, the kitchen is small, the bar is inviting. If you love local places, wine and good food, this is the place for you. It's different and delicious- I particularly enjoy the salmon and the specials they run. The cheesecake du jour is just awesome! When the weather is nice the outdoor dining is wonderful and rustic. A great place to unwind in a natural setting. I definitely recommend Petit Bistro!
