Room was rented for my sister coming in from out of town for a funeral. She reported that the room was larger than most and sported a vibrating chair, nice mattress and ample amenities.
The property also featured an argumentative and unfriendly manager that actually blamed her for the frozen air conditioner unit in her room. The manager also demanded a cash deposit before a simple box fan would be provided to assist her with ventilation.
It should be noted that, over the years, I've watched this property change hands numerous times which is not unusuial for a hotel. What once was a well maintained Ramada Inn is now but a ghost of it's former self as an Econo Lodge. This is not to say that the motel is not comfortable, it is (and truckers know this to be true.) It's just that , with the lack of overall maintenance and investment in the property has evidently come a lack of pride in the facility by it's staff and owners.
Overall, I would rate this place on par with a Motel 6.
