This restaurant is part of a small, family-owned chain here in central Arkansas. They offer fresh, flavorful food and the prices are very reasonable. This particular restaurant mimics the look of a Spanish veranda at night. The lighting is quite dim, but not really romantic. It's more of a family restaurant.
They offer all-you-can-eat chips with three salsas. One is a sweet-smoky cooked salsa and another is a very spicy green salsa. My favorite is the fresh tomato salsa. It's hard to go wrong with the huge menu. The combination plates are first-rate, with the "V-1" ranking as my personal favorite. It features a guacamole taco, a bean tostada and a cheese enchilada with rice and beans. Everything is very fresh, cooked to order and the beans are much tastier than those at most Mexican restaurants. On the weekends they feature a wonderful Mariachi band.
With the festive atmosphere and the amazingly low prices, it's a great place to take out-of-town company or a large group. Go at lunch, and you will practically have the place to yourself!
