“Relax and Be Taken Care Of Here”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2013

Awesome staff, great breakfast and very nice amenities in the room. Front staff is very good and there's a nice selection of 'snack' items available. Close to CrackerBarrel, Penny's Diner and a shopping mall with all the other chains, it's in a good location just off 8. Again, the front desk staff is great, happy, polite, extremely well trained and helpful.

The accommodations were spacious, quiet and clean. I liked the linens but they could have been softer although they didn't stop me from sleeping the best I have in ages at a hotel. The tub and shower were good sized so no bumping elbows. However, my arms weren't quite long enough to reach the toilet paper - don't know what was up with that.

They make the USA Today available to you at the front desk; I'm spoiled, I like it delivered to my door but this worked well.

The breakfast has scrambled eggs, pork and turkey sausage patties with fresh spinach, cheese and salsa to enhance these flavors. Lots of other condiments were also available from Hot Sauce to Grey Poupon. Hot oatmeal and 4 cold cereals, several juices, coffee, decaf and hot water were also available. Many varieties for breads were placed out, along with ham and cheese if you cared to make a sandwich. You also had yogurt, milk and the ability to make your own waffles with several toppings available on the buffet.

My one disappointment was with the shuttle service. Just be aware that you need to schedule your airport pick up and drop off, and schedule it, with the front desk, at least 24 hours prior to your desired time. There are times when it is at another of their properties and not available. We were unable to get picked up at the airport, but don't hesitate to take a taxi as the airport is quite close. However, the day we left, they were able to handle our request and the driver was a delight!

Room Tip: We were on the third floor and had little street or pool noise.

I've stayed here a couple of times now on business trips to Yuma and it's a great hotel! Right across the street from the Yuma Palms shopping area with plenty of shops & restaurants and there's a Starbucks right around the corner! Very friendly staff and super clean hotel!

SpringHill is a really nice hotel. I stayed there for a week on a work trip. The only thing I was disappointed by was the fact that the kitchen didn't include a stove. The pool was great and I wish it stayed open later than 10pm. We were always out the door by 430am so we didn't get a hot breakfast, but they will make a bag for you to take if you request it. Sometimes they didn't get the requests correct, but we were starving so...you know...beggars can't be choosers. As for the room AC unit...someone else complained about them, they are loud and obnoxious. I found it more effective to blast the AC all day (setting it to like 55 degrees) and then shut it off when I get in at night. The bed was comfy, bathroom nice, and room overall nice. I bet I'll be back.

Room Tip: See if you can avoid poolside if you are sensitive to noise. We were in there until closing and a c...

Yuma is not exactly the vacation capital of the world, but we stopped over the visit family! Springhill suites was great! The room was spacious and easily housed 5 without stepping all over each other. The pool and hot tub were great and the breakfast was good as well! If you are looking for a short stop over or a hotel to call home for a few weeks....this is a great choice

Room Tip: Right across from the mall! Great place for the location!

Great, friendly, considerate and helpful staff and management, clean hotel. Easy walk to a big outdoor shopping plaza (Yuma Palms) with restaurants, stores, etc.

Just wish the room a/c units were quieter. They are nice, modern and work great, we were just not used to the a/c noise so close to our bed.

I stayed here while at YPG on business. The location is good - near other hotels, some chain restaurants, and the small mall, and it's as close to YPG as you can get (which isn't very close). When I checked in, nobody was at the front desk, and I just stood there for five minutes waiting for someone. Finally, I yelled and the person came from the office to check me in. The room itself was nice, with a microwave. Parking and internet are free, and there is a small exercise room with a few pieces of equipment. The breakfast is adequate, but doesn't start until 0600. A lot of the people staying there need to get out to the job site early in the morning, so it would be nice if they could recognize this and start earlier. Otherwise, no complaints.
