We stay in Yuma several times a year and have always stayed at the Microtel as it's closest to our friends home in the Foothills. This last trip I checked TripAdvisor as I always do for reviews, and was a bit concerned so I started looking at other places to stay. I found the La Fuente was rated #1 and had good reviews so we tried it out. The rooms were large and they have a couch which was nice for a change and a great shower head! The best thing about La Fuente are the grounds, they are beautiful and rich with trees & foliage with lots of birds fluttering around and singing. As you lay by the large pool with great cabanas, it's just so peaceful - at least when there are no kids:) It's a great deal with a decent breakfast & happy hour! Very friendly staff with great recommendations for places to eat. Also, a great mall across the street! We have found a new home for our Yuma stays:)

This hotel is most convenient to freeway access, shopping mall, movies, food & drink, and gettting to Los Algodones for dental. There was a single queen size bed, micro, frig, large tv, desk, coffee maker, paddle fan & normal a/c. Fitness facility, laundry, pool, jacuzzi, etc. My srevice was efficient, friendly, good information provided from staff. I'll be happy to stay here again, because the surroundings were pleasing. My previous 2 night stay in a Ramada was not so good, except for staff who helpd settle a dispute with Expedia, which I'll never, ever use again.

I stayed overnite at La Fuente on a Thursday night on my way from San Diego to Phoenix. My room was on the second floor and was clean and fairly large. There is no elevator, so you may need to request a first floor room if you're unable to get your bags upstairs.

The internet connection worked without a problem and the bed was comfortable. The "free" breakfast was adequate: eggs, bacon, sausage patties, english muffins and bread to toast. Breakfast is served from 5am to 9am.

Check-in was easy and the desk clerk was professional and polite.

I didn't go in the swimming pool, but it looked OK. Not too big, but large enough to get a bit of a swim.

I would stay at the La Fuente again with no hesitation.

Stayed here for 2 nights the very end of January. Had to go for dental work in Algodones again, and noticed that the Hampton (across the street) is still not offering AARP rates during the week... so thought we'd try the La Fuente Inn this time around who does give AARP rates during the week. We are glad we did, the one bedroom suite was quite nice, roomy, very comfortable and quite reasonable. We found out that they didn't have feather pillows, so we brought our own... bed was very comfortable. Older place, but very well maintained.... nice pool area and inner courtyard. I can see why this place is so highly rated, we will be back.
