This property had okay rooms and cleanliness. My only problem was when I tried to use my AAA card for the discount, the manager didn't have a clue about it even when I showed him the details in the AAA book. He finally went along with it after several minutes of discussion. Winslow has a fine coffee shop just near the "Standing On The Corner" intersection in town. Don't miss it for great coffee and a few breakfast items.

The Days Inn in Winslow Arizona is an average motel however the manger at this hotel is Above Average! I have been staying at this motel weekly for the past several months as I work east of this location and it is easier to stay in Winslow than to travel back to my home town of Flagstaff. The manager, VJ, has gone out of his way to accommodate me during my stay, even when the hotel was nearly sold out and I didn't have a reservation (due to the opening of the super wal mart in town) he found a room for me. He makes my stay at a very average motel, an above average experience!

The staff was so helpful. The man at the front desk told us of the area attractions & where to eat. The room was clean, the pool was enjoyable and the hotel had easy access to the local attractions. Thanks, again.

Advice to other I-40 travelers---Don't stay here! Looks fine from the outside but the rooms are in terrible shape. We had 4 in our room and it came with 2 towels. No problem I thought, I'll just ask for 2 more towels. The front desk did not want to give us the needed towels. When I insisted they actually gave us 2 CLEANING RAGS!! Ripped and stained. At this point we were so tired we just went to bed--but we could feel the bed springs. Miserable night. In fact we stayed away from any other Days Inn the rest of our trip. Days Inn needs better oversight of their motels.
