We stayed one night at this hotel and, though we didn't personally have any problems with the staff, we did witness an encounter between a staff member and a potential customer who was in line in front of us. The staff member got into an argument with the gentleman over allowing his dog to stay and was very rude to the elderly man. As another reviewer wrote, the staff member,Vijay, also told this man that "All people think that their dog doesn't bark.!" and flatly refused him a room even though the man's reservation was made to allow for a pet. We didn't personally have any trouble, but I was apalled at this staff member's rudeness. As far as the hotel itself goes, the icemakers and drink machines did not work, the halls and rooms smelled musty and needed updating and cleaning. The breakfast was fairly decent. This is probably the second worse hotel we've ever stayed in and it's a wonder Day's Inn hasn't shut it down.
