“Hole In the Wall”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2012

This is a simple down home Mexican Food Restaurant! The kind of food your Grandmother cooks. The Kitchen is clean.. the food is great. Love teh Green Chile Fries, Steak Picado, and the Enchilada Style Special Burrito. Joanne is great she is always so helpful and sweet! Definitely wont miss when going through town.

“Very good mexican food, not so nice decor.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2012

This is a good place to go if staying at La Posada and you want to spend a lot less than $50 for dinner; it is right across the street. The benches have duct tape and the service is so so. But try the steak picado and the sopapillas. No fear of chili in this kitchen. Harrison Ford ate here. The Turquoise room is great, but maybe you want a really good option for not much money. This is the place.

“You gotta go there”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2012

Found this little place through some locals at a bar. Easy to get too, lots of parking.
Great authentic Mexican food, with some American Indian influences. The restaurant is a great place to go because it is REAL!!!! Real people, locals and familys and has an atmosphere of life in the West. Dont know how to really explain it. It has a history no doubt, I am sure this was a restaurant for at least 75 years. It is the real deal, some time worn chairs, booths, counter top, you get the picture. You will get a great great great authentic meal. From Enchiladas to Menudo. Indian fry bread tacos if you want. Also Mexican Sopaipillas, complete with a big bottle of honey!!!! I will never go to Winslow without eating here. The young kid doing the busboy work was a delight, he helped me out ordering. It looks like a run down place, but hey those are the best places to go to get the best food (sometimes),,, Right across the street from the "fanciest place in Winslow" and next door to a churches fried chicken. Enjoy!
