“Great value stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

We stayed here for one night while on a road trip along Route 66 - this was probably the best $ for $

We were warmly greeted by the receptionist who quickly got us checked in and explained about breakfast the following day.

The rooms were a decent size and the beds comfortable.

The breakfast area is a little on the small side and was very busy, but the breakfast was very good considering what we paid and the kids really enjoyed the waffle maker.

The hotel is east to find, just off the interstate - not much around it so you need to drive 5 minutes to the town centre to find somewhere to eat dinner - a decent selection of eateries there.

All in all a good choice for us and would stay again if I was fortunate enough to be back in the area.

Stayed at this motel twice. Both times we found every staff member we encountered to be friendly, helpful and accommodating...above and beyond expectations. This included desk clerks, dining staff and the manager. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and the breakfast exceeded our expectations both in variety and quality.

the room was fairly new, clean, staff very friendly and helpful. breakfast was usual fare of waffles, cereal, eggs, sausage patties, fruit, coffee and pastries and breads. try to get a room on the second floor. we booked two rooms and were on the bottom floor and we both heard people walking in the rooms above us otherwise the room was quiet. the bedding looked nice but there was makeup and a few grease (?) stains on one duvet. had I seen this earlier I wound have asked for a clean one. this is a 100% smoke free facility but guests are allowed to smoke in court yard so one has to walk thru the smoke. wound stay here again however.

We were on a short Route 66 road trip. We looked at several of the "vintage" motels and decided on the Quality Inn instead as they did not list any service fees just a room rate plus taxes. When we arrived the price was increased by a $3.00 service fee. Not happy with this we still checked in. A positive is that the staff was very friendly and helpful. They honored our requests for a main floor, near the office, no pet room. They actually removed the service fee the next day at our request. Now for the other story: The bed linens looked dirty because of all the stains on them. The mattresses needed to either be turned over or replaced as they were badly broken down on both sides of both the beds. The heater/ac unit's temperatures varied to the point you were either roasting or freezing - it did not maintain a constant temperature. All the drains were slow. The computer in the motel's business center was out of order. The motel was smoke free, however the smoking area was in the courtyard that you had to go through to get to the office and breakfast area. The bad part about staying in Williams, AZ is that it appears that all the motel/hotel establishments got together and decided to add service fees that are not of any benefit to the guest. Watch out for this and asked to have the fee removed.

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from the highway

We stayed for two days and the first day we were there the room we had reserved was not available due to the people in the room decided to stay another day but the staff was more than willing to move our luggage when the room was cleaned. This motel has been recently renovated and is very well taken care of, I would recommend this motel wholeheartedly.

Room Tip: all rooms were quiet and the guests respect each others space

I was staying in Williams, preparing for a hike in Havasupai Canyon. After one interaction with desk staff was impressed with their friendliness and attentiveness. I had several requests for "out of ordinary" service and each was met with a good solution and a smile.

I was so impressed with the demeanor of all of the staff, from housekeeping to breakfast bar workers to night desk staff, that I voiced my positive experience with Jim, the manager.

I would definitely stay at the Quality Inn, in Williams, Az on my next trip.

Got a great rate for this hotel. Close the freeway, but very quiet. Smaller hotel, but well appointed. Very clean. Free breakfast was plentiful and hot, but sausage was a little greasy. Great location less than a half mile from the Grand Canyon Railway. Close to several fast food restaurants and convenience stores. Also close to Wild West Junction which has nice restaurants.
