Nothing too fancy... as the previous post suggests it is not quite up to the average Holiday Inn standard. The rooms are a little dated and more of a nicer motor lodge standard. Our room (got stuck in a smoking room) smelled pretty bad, but some Febreeze did the trick to make it livable. The room was clean and the hotel restaurant was pretty good. Our room was on the second floor (no elevator) and we couldn't find a working ice machine. Our room faced the interstate (albeit we were in the farther of the 2 wings) and we did not notice the freeway. The indoor pool was fun, but the smell of chlorine was a little strong. Compared to the other lodgings we saw this one appeared to be about as good as it was going to get for the area. It's about an hour drive to the Grand Canyon... next time we'll try to book far enough ahead of time to get lodging inside the park. For the price this was an OK deal and I wouldn't rule out staying here again.

The Holiday Inn is in a great location to drive to the Grand Canyon. We planned on going to the Grand Canyon the next day only to wake up to a dead battery. The staff was very helpful in trying to find a local to give us a jump until another traveler mentioned calling the rental agency. We called the rental agency and had a jump in 15 minutes.
The room we had was enormous and it was very clean. The only dislike was the lack of an elevator.

After we had checked out the staff held on to a box of wine for us so we could pick it up on our way back from the Grand Canyon, we didnt want it sitting in a hot car all day.

So this has to be one of Holiday Inns older buildings. Not up to their usual standards. It is two story, with interior doors, but no elevator! The place looks and feels a little old & tired, showing its age, but it was clean and a relatively good value compared to the few other places we knew about in town. The room we had was huge and appeared to be designed for more beds than our one king, but the bathroom was quite small... a struggle to close the door while standing in front of the toilet. The TV was old and had less than perfect picture quality, but the bed was adequate..not bad at all, just not the best. The indoor pool was large, very spartan, noisy, and crowded with families & kids. But the large spa at one end of the room was very comfortable and very nice later when most of the kids left.
One unusual thing we noticed was about the noise level ... I mean we had a room next to the freeway and not far from the train tracks but we never heard any of that even though we knew trains went through town all night ... yet inside our room we could easily hear the muffled conversations coming from a room next to us.
There was no continental breakfast. And we did not try the restaurant here, but peeking in, we saw a comfortable, cozy steakhouse and next time will give it a try. The Mexican Cantina downtown had live music and the food was great. We also ate breakfast in the family restaurant across the street from the Cantina and the service and the food was less than what anyone would want.
A must visit is to the "Red Garter B & B " .. Bed & Bakery ..a small but tasty selection of home baked goods and an interesting history to this old bordello which is supposedly haunted!
It will cost more, but next time I'll probably stay at the newer Fairfield Inn a few blocks away.

We chose this property due to it's proximity to the Grand Canyon and convenient access to Williams and the Interstate 40 Highway. It did meet these needs. We booked an executive suite when this became an option to our request for a king-sized bed. On arrival we were told the executive suites did not have king beds nor were there any avaiable in the regular rooms at the time. The hotel restaurant was closed upon arrival and did not open until 5 PM. The wireless internet connection did not work. We contacted the front desk several times asking for assistance who recommended we go into town to an internect cafe to check our mail. This was not what we wanted to hear. Travellers should also be aware that the walls and ceiling do not provide the sound-proofing we have come to take for granted in our travels. We had difficulty sleeping as we could hear the neighbors TV clearly in our room and the upstairs neighbors heavy footsteps during the night as they made several trecks across the floor. On a positive note, the indoor pool and spa area looked very inviting although we did not use it.

This was a good room for the price and the area. We were five in the three queen bed, two room suite. There was plenty of room for the five of us. The best feature of this hotel was the restaurant. Excellent food, great service. All of the staff, hotel and restaurant, were super friendly and helpful. Even the guests were friendly. The only drawback was there was no elevator in the hotel and we had to haul luggage for five people to the 2nd floor. We would stay at this hotel again.
