The place was disappointing-the grounds were smaller than we thought. The room itself was dingy, dark, and worn. The furnishings were very old and rickety. I think it is supposed to have a cozy feeling, but that's not how it comes off. The carpet was very thin and we were not sure how clean it was. The room was very hot and the air conditioner was not working. The bathroom was dirty and the vanity was chipped and old. The swimming pool looked dirty-we did not use it. We paid approx. $20 more a night than the hotel we checked out of to come here and were we ever sorry we made that decision. Some people might find the cottages cozy but not us.

I took my two teenage sons (15 & 17 yrs old) to see the Grand Canyon and we decided to stay at the Canyon Motel & RV Park on the way. Staying in a real caboose was what got our attention. They absolutely loved it. We only booked it for one night, but they wanted to stay more, but we had to leave. The owners did a great job making the caboose a fun place to stay in. It was very clean and had everything you would need. The staff were very nice and helpful. I would go back again. Where else can you stay in a real caboose!

We stayed 2 nights here while visiting the Grand Canyon. The room was very old and things were worn out. Toilet seat and sink area wornout and the shower enclosure was tiny and could hardly move around. No peep hole in door and no safety lock. Area is gravel in front. The bed mattress was bad and gave me a sore back. Front desk staff was very friendly.

This place is a real dump and should be left well alone. Thankfully only stayed 2 nights, either side of Canyon visit. We stayed out all day long, going for dinner before having to go back. Rooms smelled and were cold. Heater warmed it up while we were out. For far superior and cheaper accommodation use one of the local hotels. Whilst checking my flights from Vegas the receptionist actually cut me off internet as I'd gone over the 10 mins!! Just as well I find eccentrics amusing!! Indoor pool closed
