In January 2006 my husband and I stayed at the Hollyhock Inn in Williams, Arizona. Our hosts Sharon and Rocky made our stay a delight. Sharon made the most wonderful home cooked breakfasts, fresh fruit, strawberries, eggs and bacon, banana bread, in fact anything you could ever imagine was offered every morning. Absolutely delicious. The bed was just so comfortable we didn't want to get out of it and with the fireplace blazing to keep us warm from the snow outside it was wonderful. The displays of wonderful stained glass art is also worth the look. Hollyhock is just a few minutes walk from the Grand Canyon Railway station where we took the train trip to the Grand Canyon. A must do experience. It is also walking distance to many restaurants and is a great base from which to explore the area. At just US$70 per night including this great breakfast you can't go wrong.
