My wife and I stopped 26-27th. I booked based on the reviews from Tripadvisor. They got it spot on. What a fab find. We drove from Vegas to the hotel and were told 'go find a room to suit' and off we went around the hotel checking each one out. You don't get choice like that very often.

We chose the 'Boudoir' which apparently as a room has a rather rum history to it!

Amy was a great host. Nothng was too much trouble and she made us feel right at home. There's something real nice sitting in an old rocking chair toasting your feet in front of the hotel sitting room fire with a take out pizza. I can't think of anywhere I've stayed where the management would let you do that!

Like reviewers say if you want 5 star luxury this is not the place for you. If you want charm, warmth, character and wonky floors this is the only place in town. The room and the shower were more than adequate considering the age of the building itself.

Williams is a great base for the Canyon too with only a 45 drive to the South Rim.

We had breakfast at the Rusty Trike next door to the hotel. It was super.

This place was the biz. We will return!!

Arizona's oldest hotel. Each room is uniquely decorated. The floors aren't level but the building is almost 120 years old. Give them a break! This just adds to the quaintness and ambience.

The owner's couldn't be more friendly or helpful. They have done a great job of restoring one of Arizona's real treasures.

For those who need modern conveniences there's a theater-size projector TV in the ballroom. Great place to fall asleep while watching football. There's also wi-fi and an internet terminal.

The brass four-poster bed reminded my wife of sleeping at grandma's house.

We loved this hotel. Amy was so friendly both on the phone when we booked and when we met her. The hotel doesn't have the best facilities, but it was the best hotel we stayed in during our 3 weeks in the States, by miles. If you don't mind not having a king sized bed then this is the place to stay.

Stayed here as part of the package visiting the grand canyon on the Grand Canyon Railway. Found the hotel great, with a nice (though little on the cool side) pool with hot tub as well. Found the buffet breakfast and evening meals good with a wide choice of meals that all the family were able to enjoy. The only thing I didn't like was the powdered whitener / milk substitute in the hotel itself.
