We heard all the hipe so went there. It was horrible. The carved beef tasted like nothing I have ever tasted before. It was awful. Was very disappointed, didn't even finish and left. Went to Pancho McGuilicuddys and it was great food, great music and great service. Sorry I didn't see the reviews posted here before we wasted almost $40.00.

Max and Thelma's is a disappointment. Almost the same mediocre foods each day. So-so quality, not always fresh. The price for dinner, $15.95 is too much. There are other restaurants within walking distance which looked pretty good. Never got to try them, we were locked in because we bought the package. You can always go in and pay cash if you like, but try the other places first.

Not sure what people expect from a buffet, but this was just fine. We had no complaints from my MIL, so it must have been ok! Nothing fancy, just the usual buffet stuff. We had dinner and breakfast here, both were good. We were seated promptly, dinner by the fireplace which was nice, huge huge dining room. Try the oatmeal...it'll make you feel better.
