I ate here with my girlfriend on August 16th, 2008 and fond the experience to be passable but nothing really worth repeating. We both ordered the house special charred sugar steak. Her cut of meat was at least twice the size of mine, and we have no idea why. The pieces of meat looked completely different. The steaks came with your choice of vegetable, salad and rolls for $20. While the food tasted okay, the quality wasn’t very high. We also both ordered a margarita rocks which oddly came in a pilsner glass and cost $7.
The waiter we had seemed to be in a hurry and acted quite impatient when at our table. He also had a bad habit of leaving the dining room for extended periods of time making it impossible to get service when you needed it. The atmosphere was a bit noisy and rushed feeling while the décor had a western motif.
All in all the food was edible and tasted okay for what it was, but there are better choices in Williams than Rod’s, and we will be eating elsewhere next time we're in town.
