I visited Rod's with a party of three on August 7, 2008. Each of us ordered Rod's "charred steak" ($20), but we were brought steaks of significantly different sizes. The smallest steak, which was very small, had not been trimmed of fat. The largest steak was thick on one side and tapered off to thin on the other. All of the steaks were bland, our glasses were allowed to run dry without us ever being asked if we wanted a refill, and a second order of rolls (we had to have something to eat) which was ordered at the beginning of the meal was not delivered to our table until after we were finished eating. -- The three of us left after paying the $71 and unanimously agreed that this was one of the worst places we'd ever stopped to eat.
