Our stay at Legacies Bed and Breakfast could not have been better. As bed and breakfast novices, we were not quite sure what to expect. Upon entering the B&B we were greeted by Linda and soon after Ron. We absolutely loved our room! It was very spacious with a beautiful bathroom and a stove to keep us (Floridians) warm at night. We enjoyed the breakfasts and conversations each morning with Linda and Ron. They were so helpful in giving us suggestions of things to do and places to see while in Williams. We will definitely be back to Legacies in the future.

We were visiting from the UK doing a tour of the mid-west and California. Williams is a small town a bit off the main track and we were going there direct from the Venetian in Vegas so I was worried whether we would find anything of the standards we aspire to. We stayed in the Legacies suite which is apparently the top room but sneaked a peak at the Route 66 room which was also very nice. Our room had a massive walk in shower as well as spa bath and a very comfy four poster bed. The breakfasts were great as was the company and the absence of children helped the relaxed atmosphere for us adults. Ron & Linda are great hosts, great cooks and keep the place immaculate. I would recommend Legacies to anyone. Grand Canyon is an easy 50 minute drive away and Sedona is also within easy reach. I recommend you visit the Metor Impact crater at Winslow too.

What a great weekend we spent at Legacies. We were in Williams for a wedding and chose Legacies because it was new and located in a residential area away from the busy main drag. Since the accomodations are newer, the rooms are huge. There are three guest rooms, each with a theme. The Legacies Suite is very formal and romantic, Route 66 Suite is filled with memorabilia and the Hawaiin Suite has all the tropical touches. The rooms are large, modern, with fireplace or stove. Rooms are much larger than they looked in the pictures. Morning coffee was served in the great room. We had the opportunity to enjoy all aspects of the home and the area. We took a walk ito the forest from a trail head just 1/2 block north of the B&B. We enjoyed great conversation with Ron and Linda - who also gave us good hints such as purchase your Grand Canyon Pass at the Williams Visitor Center, then you can simply drive into the park. Our three breakfasts were fabulous; quiche, a wonderful souffle, and crunchy french toast. We sat on their back patio, enjoyed a bottle of wine, and the quiet cool evenings of northern Arizona.

I had the pleasure of staying in the Legacies Suite for 2 nights. It is a large room and a great alternative to a hotel room. You really do feel like you're staying in someone's home. The house is located in a quiet neighborhood. As you drive up, you will see kids playing in the school yard or in the streets riding their bicycles. The suite has a tv with dvd player and satellite, so you can enjoy a movie or just watch tv when you are in the room. There is a great room for guests to use to play games or just relax after breakfast or after dinner. Linda's breakfasts were wonderful: breakfast caserole dish which had hash browns and a little sweet pepper, crumbled bacon and an egg on top. Linda is happy to make adjustments to the menu if needed. Internet is accessed through your own dial up connection, the B&B does not provide it. There is also a refrigerator in the suite which is helpful for leftovers and Linda and Ron stock it with water and sodas for you. The B&B is located less than a mile from the train depot and all of the shops and restaurants along 66.

We stayed in the Hawaiian and Route 66 rooms on the 29th July 2006. Both Ron and Linda are superb hosts. The rooms were exscellent. Both were clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was amazing in Route 66. Drinks in the fridge were available in our rooms, even sweets in the Hawaiian. Ron informed us of a good restaurant in Williams. Both Ron and Linda joined us at breakfast. We enjoyed their company and conversation very much. All toiletries are labelled in their own Legacies name and they were all good to use. I can highly recommend the b and b.
