“Outdated & Basic but it works for the price”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2013

We chose this motel based on previous reviews and the proximity to the Grand Canyon. Upon check in, the receptionist was more interested in telling about her troubles than giving basic check in details such as where the room was located or where the ice machines were located. We already didn't expect much based on previous reviews and got what we were expecting. The room was definitely outdated, there was small amounts of what appeared to be "mold" growing in the bath/shower area. But the room itself while outdated, worked for our needs and the price was certainly much better than staying closer to the Grand Canyon. We also ate at the Pine Country Restaurant and will give our review there, but that was one of the highlights of our time in Williams, AZ. If you're looking for basic accommodations for a reasonable price and go into it expecting nothing, this is worth staying at. But if you're one who prefers a more upscale night's stay, we'd suggest you steer clear of here.

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting the Grand Canyon. It was not expensive, not for what you get, which is nothing. The decor is awful, no alarm clock, no hair dryer, no nothing!!! Who doesn't have an alarm clock???? No breakfast at all. What WAS good, was we were able to walk to downtown Williams instead of driving and had a ton of fun doing that. There aren't a lot of quality options for stays in Williams, which is a real shame b/c the town itself is tons of fun! Wouldn't stay here again. The room was clean however, but the beds were super old!!! Old school coil with no pillow top. If I hadn't been exhausted from hiking the Grand Canyon not sure how I would have slept! No elevator, that sucked!

This is one of the more expensive Motel 6 locations, and they really don't care. The person at reception could care less. The Wifi is spotty. Breakfast does not come with the room. The room doors are so thin that you can hear every noise in the hallway, and people were getting up and moving out at 3:30 in the morning to go rafting. I know that Williams is a jumping off point for the Grand Canyon, but this hotel is not worth the money.

Stayed here one night before taking the Grand Canyon Railroad to South Rim. The motel was outdated but very clean room for the price value. The staff was excellent and we enjoyed the room. Shower was excellent!!! Note: no elevators for second floor. Close to main street Williams. We also ate at Pine Country for dinner and breakfast.

Room Tip: if you have infants, recommend getting first floor rooms. No Elevators for second floor.

As expected this offered basic facilities, decent position and value. Bit worn out and breakfast (coffee only) awful.
Welcome and front desk Shiite.
Wifi ok but hard to access.
Cleaning staff kept trying to clean despite bring told no.
Was just ok, because of price.

The Motel 6 West in Williams is a great place to stay. The room was immaculate, the air conditioning was frigid and the employees were all extremely nice. They gave me some good pointers about where to go and what to eat while in Williams. Don't miss out on the Pine Country Cafe while there. With 40 different kinds of pie and excellent food, you'll be sorry if you do.

You simply cannot be the price, ambiance, cleanliness, and location if you're staying in Williams. I highly recommend the Motel 6 West in Williams!

Room Tip: If you stay toward the back of the hotel, say around room 115, you can park at the rear of the build...

The Motel looks decent from the outside, and even "ok" from the inside at first. The beds were extra firm with a little below average pillows. The worse was how I noticed my daughter's feet were black after showering. I then looked at mine and they were the same way! It was from the carpet!!!
