“Food from the 50's”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2013

I haven't had food like this for years. Everything was home made and tasted excellent. The staff was very friendly and we felt like we were family when we were there. Do not pass this restaurant up, you will regret it.

“Great breakfast, 2 days in a row”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2013

Ate breakfast here before a day of hiking in the Grand Canyon. Our French toast & hot cakes were delicious and the coffee was really good. The service was efficient and friendly without being over-familiar. Liked it so much we went back for breakfast again the next day.

“Great for Pancakes”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2013 via mobile

Pancakes were awesome, and biscuits in biscuits and gravy were from from the oven, but the gravy needs a lot of love and the hash browns were from a bag. Service was very quick and friendly. Not much different than a Denny's but with a bit more of the local feel.

“Ignore the weeds in the parking lot and run down look and eat here!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2013

You really can't judge a book, or a restaurant, by it's cover. We pulled into Williams just for a quick lunch and after driving the length of the main drag, now covered in too much neon and homage to Route 66 we found Goldies. Not a patron inside, not a car in the cracking weed infested parking lot. We stepped in and were greeted warmly by the hostess/waitress. A simple menu with sandwiches for lunch. We ordered a BLT, a Ruben, and Cheese burger. Ruben was well above average, my BLT had plenty of B, fresh crisp L, and a thick slice of nice ripe T and was served on extra thick sour dough toast. The burger was surprisingly a big, thick, juicy hand formed patty at least 1/3 pound or maybe more, and browned perfectly. This place is a winner! The only mark down on the food for the fries which were limp and greasy, so ask gfor them crisp or well done and I'm sure they would be better The place is in serious need of some upkeep though so I hope the owner will do some repairs and spruce it up. I think the exterior appearance in hurting business unfairly.

“Good breakfast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 9, 2013

It is hard to mess up breakfast but some times your eggs aren't done quite right or the hash brown are either half raw or burned to a crisp, not so at Goldie's Diner. Two eggs over medium, perfect. Two large sausage patties and hash browns done just right. If you want a good breakfast I highly recommend Goldie's Route 66 Diner.
