On a recent motorcycle trip we had the opportunity to stay at the Rancho Grande. The service at the counter was outstanding! There is a nice counter full of brochures displaying many of the local activiites at the front desk. The clerk was very knowledgeable about the local area. We were even offered rags to wipe down the motocycle. The rooms are extremely clean, and well maintained. The king bed we had was firm with a pillow top mattress and an over abundance of very large, fluffy pillows. The rooms and the main parking lot face away from the main street, so road noise is minimal and your vehicle is out of sight from the traffic. The hotel is located right next to a coffee shop and small restaraunt. There is a Cirlce K, European restaraunt, Italian restaruant and a restaraunt called the Golden Nugget with American fare all within walking distance. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again.
