At first glance, based on price and the look of the hotel when we drove up, I thought this was going to be dated, chintzy and probably dirty. It was absolutely not. Quite the opposite our room was immaculate, well appointed (kureg k-cup on the separate vanity, yea) recently renovated and quiet. In fact at breakfast I was surprised at how many people were there, as quiet as it was I figured there were few guests. Breakfast offered a lot of choices, though be prepared to sit family style with other guests as the tables are all 6-8 tops. This doesn't bother us, we're fairly out going, but sitting with strangers first thing in the morning may put some people out of sorts.
The location is wonderful, if you're not in the park you can't get much closer. There's also a little Mexican restaurant, Plaza Bonita just down the road with pretty good fare for a tourist-driven town.
