5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 16, 2013

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in November. It was a great stay. The staff was so helpful in giving us advice on our trip. Amy at the front desk was especially helpful. When we were checking in, she suggested that we head right to the canyon to catch the sunset which was beyond spectacular. The room was a good size, nicely decorated and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was spotless. There was a coffee maker with hot water for tea or hot chocolate and a refrigerator. The iPhone dock was a plus. The breakfast buffet was great with a lot of items that you don't usually see on a free breakfast buffet. I read some comments about the food on the buffet being cold (but we just popped our platter into the microwave that was across from the buffet for 30 seconds to resolve that). The restaurant in the hotel was excellent and a bargain if you can catch the early bird special from 4 to 6 p.m. We would recommend this hotel and will stay there again on our next trip to the Grand Canyon.

Seriously great breakfast. Best I've seen for continental. Not just your average fruit loops, muffin and coffee. Spacious, clean room. Very well priced for all that you're getting! I will be coming back to the grand canyon in the future, and I will (without shopping around) be booking a stay here once again.

Dear Krista B.

We so appreciate you taking the time to compose and post this nice review of our hotel here at the Grand Canyon.

Our Continental Breakfast Buffet is a very popular ammenty and glad you were able to enjoy it. And although we do have fruit loops, muffins and coffee, it is not just your average buffet.serving a variety of fruits, pastries and hot/cold breakfasts items. We also were glad you enjoy your spacious room and found it welll priced for what you received.

We so look forward to your next visit to the Grand Canyon.

Sincerely, Heahter.

This was the perfect place to stay while we recently visited the grand canyon. The rooms were huge and very clean. Staff was excellent and very helpful. The price cannot be beat for such a great room. Literally a couple of minutes to the gates of grand canyon. The free breakfast in the morning had many choices and while not the best i have ever had still filled us up. The hot tub in indoors and is quite small but we still squished in 8 people. There is also a bowling alley that was fun and a little lounge. There is not much in this town and the alcohal is expensive in the gas station so I recommend bringing it and snacks with you if possible to save a little money.Nice gift shop as well. The hotel is fantastic- I will return if ever here again.

Dear dudesd:

I’d like to take a moment and thank you for writing and then posting this review of our hotel.

We were so pleased to learn that you thought this was the perfect place to stay here at the Grand Canyon. I know the staff appreciates being complemented and the continental breakfast buffet is good and very popular. As we are in a remote area, items normally less expensive other places do tend to be a bit pricey here although our room prices cannot be beat.

We are so happy again you enjoyed your stay and look forward to your next visit.

Sincerely,
Heather

This was by far the nicest Best Western I've ever seen, and was a fabulous value for the money we paid. Our room was massive, extremely clean, and so thoughtfully, tastefully and well decorated. I love all the old black and photos. Even the bathroom was huge and had a very large tub. There was even a Kurig with plenty of coffee. Lots of other nice amenities in the room like clock/radio with Iphone dock. Bed was very large and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our breakfast buffet, which was included, was fairly large and definitely satisfying. I wanted to stay in the Grand Canyon longer just to stay another night here.

Dear Sarah G:

We appreciate you having taken the time to write and post this review of our hotel.

It was such a pleasure to hear you considered this one of the nicest Best Western you've visited. We appreciated you acknowledging the value of the stay and our staff. Our employees only want every guest to have a memorable and enjoyable trip to the region. In addition, your comment about the old black and white photographic that line the halls are amazing and truly show the rigid and hash times back in the late 1800’s.

We hope you will visit the Grand Canyon area again as all those wonderful amenities, large bath tub and comfortable bed will be waiting just for you :).

Sincerely, Heather

We stayed for 2 nights with friends just after New Year. What a great find! The location is perfect for seeing the GC park, service friendly and efficient, great breakfast to set you up for the day. We discovered there was a lovely restaurant serving delicious well-priced food so there was no need to go out in the freezing cold evening! We liked it so much that we asked to be booked into the Best Western Inn at Sedona for another 2 nights.

Dear Liz07:

I would like to personal thank you for taking the time to write and post this review of our hotel.

We were so happy to learn you enjoyed your stay and the location of the hotel was more than you expected it to be. Our continental breakfast buffet is very popular and you really couldn’t be much closer to the entrance of the canyon if you tried. And yes, when it’s this unseasonable cold, eating at Canyon or Coronado Room Restaurant keeps you warm and toasty.

We are delighted you liked it so much that you had us book you into the Best Western Inn in Sedona for another 2 nights. Another wonderful Best Western I know you enjoyed.

Sincerely
Heather
