If you want to stay close to the canyon, in an inexpensive hotel, this is for you. Breakfast buffet was nice, (only frustration was after I had paid and tipped I found that service charge was automatically added so I tipped twice) HBO in the room. Outdoor pool- too cold in April, indoor Jacuzzi. 10 mins away from the canyo .

I stayed here back in 2004 and thought it was nice, so I booked a night at this hotel online the night before we were due to arrive in the Grand Canyon. Arrived around 6:00pm and they didn't have our booking information. The staff were helpful and sensitive to my problem, but very inflexible - they wouldn't give me the internet room rate despite having rooms available, and despite my assurances I'd booked via the internet...
In the end I gave up and stayed at the Red Feather, but when I got back to Australia I of course still got charged for a room I never got to use, and which they were unaware I'd booked! Again the staff were friendly - an email was all it took for me to get reimbursed - but their online booking system seems flaky at best. I'd recommend either booking at least a couple of days ahead if doing it online, or at the very least calling to confirm the booking, otherwise you could find yourself, like me, hunting for a hotel in the dark with a family of very tired travellers!

The hotel is pretty, clean and in the best possible position ever to discover the Grand Canyon. They give you a lot of advices and the entire crew is there to help you out.

We were wondering about the Antelope Canyon visits and a brilliant and useful travel agent has booked the best trip for us without asking for anything else than a smile.

Great surprise and the pool is so...cool :P
