Me and 2 friends stayed at jungle als last week for 2 nights.
Al is a very friendly guy. It is about a 4 hour hike along the coast to him from the airstrip at drake bay. you can also take a boat for 30 mins.
He has four dogs with puppies on the way so make sure you are confortable around dogs. His property is beatiful with lots of fruit trees and Cacoa he will be happy to show you.
it is located next to poor man's paradise.
He did not receive our last email and was not prepared for our arrival but he amde due with what he had and we nejoyed good meals and interesting conversation.
We saw lots of macaws and Toucans. And one agouti running around.
We went out to cano island from his place and saw a few humpback whales and lots of dolphins.
Al's cabin was very nice. we had the whole upstairs to ourselves with the seperate rooms all with screened walls and and a hammock on either side porch. We ahd our own bathroom and a little kithchen area witha fridge and sink.
We paid 30$ per person per night including 3 meals and felt that the price was very reasonable. The cabin is not directly on the beach but the monkey do hangout nearby.
