We were advised by a different restaurant in Drake's Bay to try Drake's Kitchen so we had high expectations. We went for dinner so it was dark outside and we thought that the restaurant was somewhat difficult to find. It is a ways out of town and the road is not well lit (Definitely need to bring a flashlight).. Teresa was super friendly and we enjoyed the conversation but the snapper meal that we ate was dry and I think that the cause was freshness. We live close to the ocean and my experience tells me that a dry and fishy taste comes from not having fresh fish. I understand that we came during a very slow time of the year but quality must be maintained. With all of these great previous reviews, this does not appear to be the norm but it was sadly our experience.
