“Arranged Sirena Overnight & Cano Island with Kenneth”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 7, 2014

Our family of 4 (2 kids- ages 11 and 8) arranged a 3 day/2night trip to Sirena and a day trip to Cano Island with Kenneth. In addition, we stayed at his small place- Casa Guacamaya.
Kenneth was very responsive from the get-go and made planning quite easy. He seems like an honest tour operator and very friendly.
He arranged for Sabena (?) as our Sirena Guide and being that she is a former teacher, was really great with my kids. Her English was very good and she was an amazing guide- able to spot so many animals for us, many of them so far away. She is very energetic, very flexible, easy going and she made sure to wake us up for our morning hikes (4am). She really took care of every aspect of our Sirena trip, which included getting us set-up on the camp platform and making sure we had our food.
For Cano Island, a different operator took us out. We were told to be there at a certain time, but they didn't end up leaving for an hour. The tour operator was ok, but their English was not just satisfactory. It would have been a better day trip if I had more explanation of where we were snorkeling, what animals we were going to see, etc...

I thought that our overall package price was slightly higher than other quotes, but in the end, we were very happy with the service we received.
Casa Guacamaya is a small, simple, clean hostel. We could not figure out the hot water, so we had cold showers. I thought the price we paid was higher than what was available elsewhere, but because we went during high season, we really did not have many choices. There was a communal kitchen that we made good use of.

“Great Trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2014

We arranged an overnight trip to Sirena Station with Corcovado Info Centre. Setting up the arrangements was easy and straightforward as all ouremails and questions were answered quickly. Kenneth booked us on the boat and there was someone waiting for us when we arrived.
Our overnight trip was well organised, the guiding professional and my veggie diet catered for.
Kenneth was really helpful when we decided to leave Drake Bay a early helping us to get the arrangements in place.

“Excellent trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2014

We booked our three-day, two-night stay at Sirena Ranger Station through Kenneth. A day before we left, he came by our hotel to finalize arrangements, make sure he was meeting the needs and wants of our group of five. He was VERY flexible both in accommodations and pricing when some of our group ended up arriving half a day late. Our guide, Jairo, was delightful, well-informed, attentive. I definitely would recommend Kenneth Mora and his company to anyone traveling to the Drake Bay area.

“Carlos Pacheco tour guide”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2014

Four of us arrived in Drake Bay on a Windstar cruise, and instead of going with the offered cruise tour, we hired Carlos Pacheco as our private guide. It was less expensive and we got a really inside hike through Corcovado, including swimming under a waterfall. Carlos is extremely experienced, fluent in English, and a terrific guy who knows everything about the rain forest. We had an unforgettable hike in the most pristine park in Costa Rica. The hike was not terribly arduous, but Carlos will tailor the hike to whatever you want and he hikes barefoot!

“Corcovado tour from Drake bay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2014

It was a good tour. Our guide did know a lot about the flora and fauna and carried a telescope so we could see birds up high we never even could have seen alone. We did see a Tapir, pigs, a green snake, lots of monkeys and birds. The lunch was good too. I booked the double tour so we also went to another beach where we hiked up to a waterfall and were able to swim underneath the falls and massage our shoulders..... heavenly.
